Our Principle Consultant - Alan G Hunton

Alan has worked in the Oil Production business for 20 years. He is a graduate chemist and has much experience in the formulation of surfactant based chemical products. He has been heavily involved with the research and development of improved scale control products, including scale inhibitors and new chemical formulations for the remediation of mineral scales.

Previously he was Technical Project Leader within the oilfield chemicals business of BP Chemicals and was also employed by Akzo Nobel in one of their industrial surfactant laboratories. He has written and co-authored a number of papers on oilfield chemicals.

A member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Energy Institute and the Water Management Society, he formed hts consultants in 1991. Other associates now work with Alan to offer a broad-based service to the industry.
